PerfGolf℠ is based on a structured discipline toward analysis of key components to our golf endeavors.

Much like the financial analysis a certified planner would use with clients to evaluate their financial condition, PerfGolf℠ assesses five key areas; SwingFit℠, ScoreFit℠, ClubFit℠, BagFit℠, and GameFit℠. Each component will yield strengths and weaknesses to be addressed. With PerfGolf℠ we are looking for the “low hanging fruit” that will yield achievable results for… Simply Better Golf.

SwingFit℠

Using a combination of video analysis, photos, ball flight characteristics, and personal evaluation, we determine the soundness of core fundamentals. Identification of areas that offer achievable improvement, taking into account the realization that physical skill, endurance, and time limitations do not allow most of us to perform as “tour players”. Find the “low hanging fruit” that will reward student efforts with better golf results.

ScoreFit℠

Playing statistics and their analysis can yield opportunities to improve areas of play with reasonable student efforts. Using data from previous rounds, student personal scoring assessment and interview, or upcoming play using the PerfGolf℠ scorecard system. Analysis will help find the areas of potential improvement with least resistance, often showing opportunities to improve with limited practice sessions.

ClubFit℠

Experience tells us there is much we can gain from our present golf skills, independent of skill level, if we are using properly fit equipment. ClubFit℠ conducts an evaluation of present equipment, comparing their specs to those of the ideal based on measurements, interviews, and questionnaire. A reasonable assessment can be achieved remotely, but the ideal situation would require access to client’s current set of clubs.

BagFit℠

As important as properly fit equipment, carrying the right combination of equipment can improve our golf enjoyment and scoring ability. Every club you carry, whether full set or less, should serve a specific purpose and perform well in the hands of that individual.

GameFit℠

Sometimes the most difficult distance to surmount is the “6 inches” between our ears. Most of us can find improvement in our golf game simply by understanding and employing a better strategic approach, whether that be course management issues, shot selection, trouble recovery, etc. By analyzing our approach and reactions to golf situations, we can learn to improve and employ a better strategic game plan that fits our ability. Again we are looking for “low hanging fruit” that will lead us to Simply Better Golf.
